PDF Annotator has an easy-to-use search function that points out all occurrences of a search string in the document, and will take you from one to the next.
Finding Text
To perform a search, choose Edit
Find, enter the desired expression in the text box and press the ENTER key to start the search or the Down or Up keys to continue searching in either direction. If you stop entering text for a few seconds, the search will also start automatically.
Use the Match Case option to perform a search using the exact case of the text that you are entering.
If the Highlight All setting is selected, PDF Annotator highlights all occurrences of the string in the document in yellow. The first hit is highlighted in green.
To close the search window, press ESC or the Cancel current search button. Any highlighted text will then return to normal.
| PDF Annotator can find text in both the original document and your annotations. When using a Tablet PC, even handwritten text can be searched. |
| Since text in PDF documents is not always saved without gaps, and words may be composed of separately positioned letters, some text strings may sometimes not be found in certain documents. |
