When operating your computer from a battery, you can modify some of PDF Annotator's default behaviors.

This will let you consume less power as you write

You can select an option under Extras Settings Tools Performance.

In Power Saving Mode , the annotation currently being worked on is shown with reduced quality until the end of the stroke, when it is redrawn in high quality.

The Best Quality option shows annotations with the highest possible quality.

The Low Quality shows presents annotations in lower quality.

Click Automatic to enable Power Saving Mode when your computer is running off a battery, and Best Quality when it is connected to the grid.
