In Full Screen Mode, window titles, borders, menus and toolbars are removed, so that the document takes up the entire screen.

Entering and Exiting Full Screen Mode

To enter Full Screen Mode, choose View Full Screen.

You can leave Full Screen Mode either by pressing the ESC button, or by moving the cursor to the red menu in the upper left corner of the screen and clicking Exit once the menu appears.

Toolbars in Full Screen Mode

When in Full Screen Mode, instead of the usual toolbars, PDF Annotator automatically uses space-saving automatic fly-in toolbars. When you move the mouse over one of the bars on the edge of the screen, the toolbar expands and can then be used. When you move the mouse somewhere else, the panel contracts and moves back to the screen edge.

This automatic contraction can be disabled by clicking the Pin symbol in the upper right corner of the panel. Clicking the symbol again will release it.

In a similar manner, all toolbars can be undocked from the edge of the screen and freely positioned. To do this, click the Window symbol in the upper right corner of the bar and pull the toolbar by clicking its title and dragging it where you want it.

Hide Scrollbars and Toolbars in Full Screen Mode

If you prefer to see nothing but the document in full screen mode, you can hide the horizontal and vertical scrollbars by checking the Hide scrollbars option under Extras Settings Display Full Screen.

By checking the Automatically hide toolbars option on the same page, the toolbars on the left side of the screen will automatically hide when not in use. To bring them up again, move the cursor to the leftmost edge of the screen.

Pointer

In Full Screen Mode, the Tools menu contains an additional tool, the Pointer. This pointer is especially useful for slide shows, since it can be seen from a distance by the audience.
